Supporting abandoned and rescued animals across Macclesfield, the Windyway Trust has a trio of treasure troves on offer in the heart of town. Whether you’re a seasoned charity shop pro or simply looking for a bargain, you’ll find something to love while helping a great cause.
For over 15 years, the Windyway Trust shop at 71-73 Chestergate has been a favourite amongst locals. This beloved charity shop is a treasure trove of pre-loved clothing, shoes, bric-a-brac, and collectables. Every rummage unearths a new gem, and every purchase helps to fund the vital work of the Windyway Animal Sanctuary.
To cope with the incredible volume of kind donations, Windyway Trust opened its second shop at 68 Chestergate. Located directly opposite the original store, this fantastic space allows the Trust to display even more of the quality goods they receive. Here, you’ll discover a wider selection of clothing, shoes, bric-a-brac, and collectables, with every single purchase helping to support the animals in the Trust’s care.
Donations can be dropped off at the back of the shop. Please call ahead if you have a large donation or need directions.

This specialist shop focuses on larger items, from pre-loved furniture to electrical goods and pet-related items. It’s the perfect place to find a unique statement piece for your home, all while supporting a fantastic local cause.
