We are absolutely thrilled to announce a fantastic new initiative dedicated to improving feline welfare across Macclesfield and the surrounding areas, all thanks to the incredible generosity of one of our most loyal supporters, Liho Chen.
With a true passion for animal welfare, Liho has kindly donated a wonderful £4,000 specifically to help local cat owners with the cost of neutering. This amazing gesture has allowed us to create a voucher scheme that will have a direct and lasting impact on the health and happiness of countless cats in our community.
Neutering is one of the most important things you can do for your pet and our community. It’s a routine procedure that offers huge benefits:
A Healthier, Happier Pet: Neutering helps prevent certain types of cancers and diseases. It can also reduce the urge for cats to roam, fight, and spray, meaning they are less likely to get lost or injured.
Preventing Unwanted Litters: A single unneutered female cat can be responsible for thousands of descendants in just a few years. By neutering your pet, you are helping to tackle the problem of stray and unwanted kittens.
Easing the Strain on Rescues: Supporting neutering efforts means fewer abandoned animals and less pressure on rescue centres like ours, allowing us to focus our resources on the animals who desperately need our help right now.
This scheme is designed to be as simple and accessible as possible for local residents.
Where: Vouchers are available for collection from our Pet Food Bank, located at The Windyway Trust Centre, 164a Crompton Road, Macclesfield, SK11 8EH.
When: You can pop in to see us any Saturday between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Our friendly team at the Pet Food Bank will be on hand to provide you with a voucher and answer any questions you may have.

IMPORTANT: Please be aware that these vouchers can only be redeemed at Bollington Vets Surgery. When you are ready, simply contact their team directly to book an appointment for your cat and be sure to mention that you have a Windyway neutering voucher.
